An optical line termination (OLT), also called an optical line terminal, is a device which serves as the service provider endpoint of a passive optical network.
Optical Line Terminal or optical line termination is a device that basically acts as a part of a passive optical network (PON). It is present in the central office of the network and manages the transmission and reception of information across the overall network.
